STECA PA HS400 – Current Sensor for Steca Tarom MPPT and Steca Tarom Solar Charge Controller

The STECA PA HS400 is a highly intelligent current sensor with extremely low self-consumption. If, for example, an inverter is connected directly to the battery and the charge controller cannot measure the current drawn, the STECA PA HS400 shunt is used. A shunt is also needed if an additional generator (e.g. PV, wind or diesel) charges the battery directly.

The Hall effect is used for contactless measurement of the current. The data are transmitted to the charge controller via a cable. All types of currents can be detected: charging currents, load currents as well as battery and DC-side inverter currents.
