STECA Solarix MPPT 5020 Solar Charge Controller – 12/24/48V 50A

The STECA Solarix MPPT 5020 is a highly efficient mid-range MPPT (Maximum Power Point Tracking) solar charge controller for 12V, 24V and 48V battery systems. With a maximum PV open circuit voltage of 150V and a 50A battery charging current, it is ideal for larger systems with two or more solar modules where the module voltage is higher than the battery voltage. Efficiency is up to 30% higher than with a PWM charge controller.

The efficient MPP tracking algorithm from Steca always provides the maximum usable power of the module, significantly increasing energy yield especially in poor weather conditions such as cloud cover, winter, and diffused light. Compatible with LiFePO4 lithium batteries and featuring an RS-232 interface for direct notebook connection. The electronic, temperature-dependent speed control contributes significantly to noise reduction, energy saving and increased service life of the fans.
